It depends on the engine — usually every 100,000–160,000 km, or every 5–7 years, whichever comes first. We check your car's data and tell you the exact interval.

My car has a timing chain — does anything need doing?

Chains last longer but aren't "forever" — they can stretch. If there's a cold rattle or a timing fault code, we check it.

Do you change the water pump at the same time?

If it's driven by the timing belt, yes — most of the labour is already done and you avoid repeating it. It's included in the quote.
